The Wallace Family 16th Dec 2018

Ben to us was a solid, kind, reliable and fun friend. He cared so much about others but adored his family. Our lives became intertwined because of our children, Ben was always there. School plays, awards evenings, football presentations, galas, parties and standing on the sidelines supporting Harry. He loved fancy dress, our favourite costume was the donkey at Helens 40th! Hard to comprehend he won’t be there anymore but so pleased we met him and we didn’t miss out. ❤️ 16th Dec 2018

During your lifetime, if you are lucky, you meet someone like Ben. A gentle giant and true gentleman with a huge heart, genuinely interested in what’s happening in others lives and at the same time completely dedicated to his own family. His kindness and support has touched so many people and we feel honoured to have known him. 15th Dec 2018

Ben and I joined Summit at similar times. Over the 4 years I worked with Ben I found him to be a warm, positive and caring person, always willing to help; a man who led by example and clearly commanded the respect of those around him. Taken far too soon, he will be sorely missed. My thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues in this difficult time. 15th Dec 2018

Finding out your new final year house mate at Uni is a guy that can barely fit through the door frame was slightly daunting, but there he was. Ben! His room decked floor to ceiling in green & white Carlsberg branded merchandise and crates of unlabelled beer in the kitchen, it did make me wonder what kind of year I was in for. In the end that year probably gave me some of my fondest memories and had an incredibly huge impact which, in a large part was down to Big Ben. Such an incredible man who I feel privileged to have known. Tracey, yourself Poppy and Harry have our deepest condolences 15th Dec 2018

I heard the news of Ben’s passing with utter disbelief. A larger than life character, Ben was one of the first people I met at Summit in 2011; my first 1-2-1 was a long memorable walk around the Polo pitch with him as I begun my journey at Summit. There were occasions when I sought Ben’s personal or professional advice - he always gave it willingly with encouragement. I consider myself so very lucky to have known Ben, learned from him and witnessed his great sense of fun. Thank you so much Ben you will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all the Latham family, our thoughts are with you. 15th Dec 2018

I was so sad to hear this news. Although it has been a while since I saw Ben, I can clearly recall his booming laugh even now! Such a kind man, I owe much of my career to Ben and feel honoured to have known him. 15th Dec 2018
